OPEN TO ALL!
It had been a while since Alistair was able to go out with his brother just to kill time or for some fun. Alistair didn't like seeing his brother always lying on the couch or asleep and his twin was quite bored. Felix was usually dressed with clothing while Alistair had more casual apparel on. Just a simple white V neck for a warm day and some nice comfortable jeans. For the most part Alistair didn't really care what kind of clothes he wore as long as they felt comfortable. So his wardrobe was always simple but yet fresh. The brothers were simply on their way to the beach in search of something fun to do together. Alistair was hoping that maybe people will finally know the difference between him and Felix; he was beginning to get tired of people thinking he was Felix. True, Alistair does pretend to be his brother but that was only at work since the real Felix would get his ass fired. Still those men were going to scare the beejesus out of him. He understood if some girls came back all flirty or angry but excited men? No.
Alistair wasn't someone who aimed for relationships at all. He could be described as a heartbreaker more than anything else. He rarely shows much emotion because he honestly doesn't know what emotions he should be feeling. Whoever the fuck this Tess dude was..... was Alistair really not that acceptable? He took a quick glance at his brother with his recent identical haircut, but a bit messier due to lack of maintenance and control. He had told Felix to at least try to change his taste of fashion for the evening for once, although it didn't matter that much if Felix decided to listen to his brother or not.
Suddenly Alistair noticed he was sort of lagging behind in all of his thoughts. He could see another mirror image face at a distance. He needed to stop getting lost in thought. The blond tried to hide his vulnerable expression underneath the common emotionless face he would put on, but he couldn't so easily with his brother around.
And then suddenly he was looking at the horizon. The sun was setting, the waves began to calm down, and Alistair realized he was at the beach but didn't see Felix anywhere. Panic struck him. Did he black out again? Hadn't that happen to him already earlier today? He hoped that this wasn't something that would happen to much. But it was a big problem now, Alistair had no idea how he got here, where Felix was, and worse what happened in the time he took to get here.
THWACK!
"Hey...!" He called out annoyed. Something hit his head hard, really hard. He turned to the direction of another voice which returned not an apology but laughter. He glared at the unfamiliar until the other guy spoke. "Can we get our ball back?" Alistair looked down at the ground to the ball near him, so he was an unlucky target in a game of volleyball, huh? The blond picked up the ball & walked over to a side that was easily cleared when Alistair was hit. "Sure, I'll give it back." He said as he tossed it the air and hit with the strength he could muster with his arm and heard a satisfying thud when it hit the ground.
OOC- yeahh the twins so umm wait for felix then play with them xDD

When Felix had awoken that day, he had expected the usual mundane activities to follow. Watch television, go bug Roi or Koalk at the game store, possibly harass Jazlyn across the hallway of the apartment - he definatly had no expected Tess to suggest actualy doing something together. The twins were close and all, but when it came to doing things they weren't realy on the same level. Felix was far too relaxed and easily distracted, whereas Tess - or rather, Alistair as he preferred to go by - was more of an outdoor, forward thinking kind of guy. They rarely did the same things, and ever since SEG had been more active around town, they hadn't had time to hang out.
But instead of being annoyed that he was being dragged to the beach - the sun, ew, even if it was barely spring it was still to bright for his taste - he was rather happy about it. Even if he kept quiet about it, Felix loved his brother far too much, and though loyal enough to friends, he would willingly back stab anyone to look after his little brother. Ever since the accident, it had been that way. Heck - it was all his fault. He owed it to Tess - to the old Tess, not Alistair - to defend him against all odds.
Although lately he had been rather depressed by the whole thing, and although Jazlyn hadn't exactly helped like he had hoped - she was realy the only one he could talk to, Tess would just think him stupid for worrying, probably - he was still functioning as always. Noone could tell he was having any sort of inner doubt. Not even his brother. Felix preferred it that way. He didnt realy like looking weak, after all. Since spring had come along, though, he had found himself brightening up slightly, and even though the day wasnt the warmest of weather, Felix decided to wear a pair of ripped jeans, rather than his lazy sweat pants, doubled with a plain shirt he managed to sneak from Tess' wardrobe. His hair, his long locks shed for the spring and almost as short as Tess' - he hated it, it made his head too cold, he often complained - was still in messy tufts, an unbrushed mess of gold atop his head. Yawning, he followed his brother from their apartment and was soon walking towards the beach, head high and eyes staring up at the clouds.
With his brothers shirt and his hair nearly the same length - a curse forced upon him, since Tess did not approve his Felix's messy look - they looked all too similar. It irked him slightly - the reason he usually wore odd or just plain hobo-ish clothes was simply so he could differ himself from his twin, but at the same time there was a weird feeling of unity between them. He glanced sideways and grinned, wordless because it was just one of those times they didnt need to talk to enjoy one another's company, and then frowned. Tess seemed deep in thought about something, gazing ahead restlessly. He looked uneasy, but Felix couldnt figure out why. Before he could, he found himself walking into a telephone pole - his own fault for not watching where he was going, and as he stumbled back and rubbed his head with a groan, Tess wandered off.
Where the fuck was he? Felix's eyes darted about, hand still gingerly grasping his throbbing head. He couldnt help but swear to himself, both for the pain and for loosing Tess. Had he blanked out and ended up somewhere, alone? Hopefully he hadnt collapsed or something. Felix wouldn't forgive himself if something happened simply because he went and smashed his head willingly into a metal pole. Ignoring the slowly numbing pain, he moved over to the beach where he heard voices; sure, I'll give it back - he would know that voice anywhere. It was identical to his own, after all, only with a slightly more husky sound, from the other twins nasty habit of smoking. Just as he got to the sand, he knew he was right after all. He watched as Tess served the ball back to its owners and sat down to watch quietly, smiling yet with an odd feeling of uneasiness. What had Tess's expression been about. Was he simply weary of being outside in obviously SEG ridden streets, or did it lie deeper? He didnt know and he doubted he would find out so easily. They were close, but they were flawed. Neither spoke of their emotions too clearly. They just had to hope the other figured it out in that uncanny, twinnish kind of way, somehow.

Eyes stared out the window without seeing anything. Drifting around in her thoughts was a new hobby. She was getting pretty good at it too. Music lyrics swarmed her mind, combining and separating a multitude of songs like a perverted remix. If someone saw her in this state, the first thing they’d ask was if she wanted a ride to the mental hospital. Her expression was unusually blank. Maybe she was… A warm breeze on her face snapped her to attention. She glanced down at the mug in her hands. It was lukewarm now. Her gaze drifted to the open window, the channel for outside. A smile appeared on her face and she suddenly leapt from the couch. What was she doing just sitting inside? It was, after all, spring. The world could come alive again, and it was a sin to miss it.
The woman kept the new found excitement under control and walked calmly to the bedroom. She stripped off her pajamas and threw them at a clothes hamper. They ended up strewn across it instead. She shrugged and pulled on a pair of dark denim shorts and a dark tank top to match. The openness of her clothes felt good. Naked skin was a thing of beauty. She wandered towards the bathroom. Her reflection seemed brighter. She guessed it was her new purpose. “Can’t just sit on the couch forever, right?” Her reflection smiled at this. She combed her hair and tied it back into a tight ponytail. There was a bandage wrapped around her hand that she needed to change. She heaved a sigh as she got out new bandages and some ointment to prevent infections. Unwrapping the fabric, a long pink cut greeted her eyes, running along most of her palm and stopping near the base of her thumb. She’d gotten it on the job, a present from a box cutter that had refused to cooperate. It was fun to watch her boss flip. The rest of the day off had been a gift to her, to spend it as she wanted.
When everything was over, she nearly skipped to the door. It was gonna be a good day. And it was only when she was leaving the apartment lobby that she really noticed the sun was already drifting down in the sky. This wasn’t a deterrent though. She liked the night, and she especially liked the sunset that came before. One day could be turned into different worlds, filled with their own colors and shadows. She promised herself that she’d see it all. Spring had the power to change everything. Right now it was affecting her attitude. She loved it.
Jazlyn sprinted through the streets like those joggers you see every morning. And even when weariness came to her legs, she didn’t stop. Only when the ground underfoot changed to shifting sand did she halt, almost tripping in it. This made her question whether or not her mind was still drifting. She hadn’t even seen the beach coming up. Can’t complain though. The beach is the best place to go right now…the woman’s eyes glanced around. There were still a lot of people around. The threat of night didn’t hold much power with them. For now. Her legs began moving again and she soon found herself walking close to the water, though with enough distance to keep her feet dry. Sudden loud sounds and muffled smaller ones told her of a volleyball game commencing. She tore her eyes away from the water and looked for the game. She’d played volleyball a few times though not too seriously. If she really got serious, she could get extremely competitive. And that was dangerous.
Her feet changed course as if drawn by the game. This here was entertainment she could use. Especially when it could involve the audience, which happened when the ball flew wildly and struck some poor blond guy right in the head. She smiled sadly. She knew how that felt, but she couldn’t help but laugh a little. The ball returned to the game, and she came to rest on the sidelines. All the people here reminded Jazlyn of the typical spring break picture one would usually see on TV. It was influential on her mood too. She felt energy flowing from everywhere, touching everything. The smile didn’t leave her face, and she even found herself shouting cheers for both teams. She noticed the blond haired man she saw before. Her cheering stopped. His hair was shorter, and something about him seemed off, but she just seemed to know who it was. Felix. Except when she started towards him, she was in fact heading for Alistair instead. When she reached him she wore a warm smile, and her voice made her wonder just how happy she was. "The new disguise doesn't quite suit you. Having fun out here?" Every other time she would hang out with Felix, she'd end up upsetting him in some way. Maybe it was part of her nature? But she didn't want that tonight. The day was too good for that, and depression didn't suit her friend.

OOC - sorry Rai, no wip's & you were also given at least three days to finish your post. My muse also can't wait that long either. TAGS - Felix, Jazlyn. STATUS - closed off now because I don't want anyone interrupting these epic upcoming moments <333
Alistair never really planned on getting involved in a game, but he enjoyed competition. Besides, he wasn't going to let someone who hit him on the head with a volleyball get all the glory. At first, Alistair expected Felix to come to his side to aid him but he forgot he wandered off. At the corner of his mind the blonde was worried for his older brother and how freaked out he must be. He knew might even get scolded or be sit down to discuss what might've happened during the blackout. However right now he was into a great game. People assembled with him to make a team and although he never knew any of them he just decided t cooperate with them for the game. Unlike Felix, Alistair was more of a person that went outside to be active instead of lying or sleeping around so he was naturally good with outdoor activities and sports. During the game he was fair too; he let others get the ball and have their turn to serve.
He sort felt a bit lonely too. People were crowded around the game, but Alistair didn't know them. Being surrounded by no one you knew was pretty much like being surrounded by no one at all. Maybe his brother was in the crowd cheering him on or watching or something, hopefully Alistair wasn't too far away. He just prayed in his mind that he wouldn't black out again too soon. He lacked fairly good memories in his head to look back on anyway.
The other team were getting stressed out so they decided to take things.... on the rough side. The male that had hit him earlier on the head used more power in his hands to pike the ball a few times. They really did not want to lose. Alistair gave them credit for effort but he could sense a strong dislike the male had against, he was probably a 'hotshot' in the game before the blonde had came in. Each team countered for a while until Alistair was approaching the volleyball and hit with his hand. He hit it pretty hard that the ball was went flying off in a distance. "Whoops." He said plainly, lacking a real tone. His 'rival' rolled his eyes in annoyance and ran off to get it, Alistair stood there waiting for him to return until someone else came up to him. He heard a female voice behind, completely unfamiliar. Why was she talking to him? He never talked to her before in his life. Did she maybe talk to him earlier when he blacked out? "Who are you?" He bluntly asked, his voice was flat and lacked emotion really. "Do you know me? I... don't know you, at all." He was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable inside.

Felix watched the identical form of his brother play, getting along just fine with he other team, or so it seemed. He looked like one of the boys, just another member of the group showing off for the many girls littering the beach. But Tess wasnt like that. Felix didnt take his eyes off the blond. He knew Tess didnt like being up there alone - because that was what he was. Even if he somehow knew them people, his brain would switch of like a light and he would no longer remember them. How lonely a life that would be. He sighed; it was his fault. If he was up there, he'd be rubbish at the sport for sure, but at least he would keep his brother company. Besides, hot twins drew attention, right? He glanced down at his slightly paler skin and thin, not-so-muscular torso. The only thing stopping him getting fat was his low energy, low fat diet. It was a wonder he was still mobile, to be honest. A twinge of jealously for his brothers body was the only thing making him stay put on the side lines. He hated being the ugly twin.
But he continued to watch them play, until Tess - quite obviously on purpose - whacked the ball as hard as he could muster away from the pitch to piss some hot shot from the other team off. Felix grinned, but it didnt last long. Would the old Tess do that, or was it just 'Alistair'? He didnt know anymore. He was beginning to forget how the old Tess acted. It made him sad, but he had to get over it right? Alistair was his brother too, even if he acted different and refused to acknowledge the name his mother gave him. Felix didnt blame him realy; Felix and Tess were stupid names. A girl and a cat, maybe, but not twin boys. Whatever, their mother was a tad eccentric, after all. He missed her, but he knew he had to be here, protecting the only person he loved. He didnt even know if his family was still alive. He had no way of knowing - but it didnt matter. He would just have to hope.
As the apparently rival wandered off to retrieve the ball, Felix saw a familiar brunette wander over towards the blond. For a moment he laughed at the idea of someone hitting on his brother, boy were they going to be rejected in a less than subtle manner, but he was mistaken. On second glance, hearing what Tess and the girl said, he stood up. As he did he caught sight of her face. Jogging over, he threw his arms over his twins shoulders, head peering over one shoulder, two identical faces staring at her. One grinning, the other mildly confused. "Jazlyn!" He felt the familiar warmth grow inside of him, cheering him up slightly as she drew him away from his depression thought train. "Meet T-...Alistair. My brother." Had he ever warned her they were twins? He didnt think so. He only ever said brother, right? Oops, never mind. She knew for sure now. His hair was cut shorter than normal, badly in places from his dislike of getting it cut, making it more choppy than his brothers, who's was rather neat. Dragging his arms off Tess' shoulders, he instead loped an arm over Jazlyns shoulder. "You gonna play? You look like the sporty type." He glanced at Tess. "But you' never beat my brother here; hes a pretty good shot." He added thoughtfully before pulling away from the pair. He didnt want to drag them down, but he couldnt quite get his own spirits up. Maybe watching them play together - or against one another - would be more fun. He didnt know Jazzy could be competitive, though, and if she played someone skilled like Tess; well there might be trouble, who knew?

[atrb=width,500,true][atrb=border,0,true][bg=000000]
The confusion on his face was convincing. He didn’t know who she was. He really didn’t. She could begin second guessing herself, but even his eyes were the same. The same heterochromatic colors that were so unusual. Not many people had that, and when they did it didn’t always involve people have two different eyes; similar layers of colors in both eyes seemed more likely. She felt lost, but something nagged at her memory. When she heard her name called, her eyes were greeted by the same face, same set of eyes. Except where there was confusion on one face, she saw the familiar grin on the other.
Alistair. His brother. She let that register for a second.
“Jesus chr—” Her breath escaped her shakily. She did remember him talking about there being a twin. It was easy enough to imagine a Felix clone. Seeing the actual sibling and being able to compare, however, was a new thing entirely. And they even had the same hair. Felix’s long hair cut short to match his brother. Her eyes kept glancing from one face to the other. Felix broke her stare with an arm around her. He still liked being clingy at least. A smile brightened her face as she glanced up at Felix. Her mind was still trying to wrap itself around the twins when the game was brought into question. Sporty type was partly correct. She wasn’t always into it, but she wasn’t inactive either. Jazlyn followed the shifter’s gaze to Alistair. He was egging her on to challenge his brother. Her eyebrow rose in curiosity. He doesn’t know the word humility…
She grinned apologetically to Alistair. “Sorry for the mix-up. A game sounds like a good idea,” she mused carefully, sounding as though a game would be too much trouble. After such an introduction, a game didn’t sound very harmful. She didn’t care if the other game was completed or not. She wanted to hang with the shape shifting brothers. Felix was already gone from view of course, his form threatening to disappear back into the crowd as just another spectator. She quickly rushed over and looped an arm through his. “What do you think you’re doing? You suggested the game, you have to play. I’m not going through this alone,” she said accusingly. But she grinned warmly, like a shot fox. She tugged his arm and kept holding on until they were back next to Alistair. Jazlyn realized suddenly that she had no idea how they wanted to play the game. It couldn’t be just the three of them alone. And the previous players wouldn’t be happy about the idea even if they tried. The guy that had retrieved the ball was coming back too. She cast a small glance in his direction, but looked back to the brothers quickly. “Seems like the game is switching up. So, what sides are we on then?” She spoke to Alistair, since he seemed the more athletic of the two. It didn’t occur to her that he might not want her to play. She was already thinking of spiking the ball into the opponent’s face.

Alistair was someone who didn’t exactly know that many people. It didn’t help hi much at all, especially at work where he didn’t bother to make conversation with any co-workers or any customers. Of course there were some strange people who claimed to know him, or probably his brother, which threw the blonde off. He generally wasn’t much of a people person at least now anyway. He was definitely more different than he was before, or at least that’s what he managed to gather from his brother. So he was mostly quiet and mainly stone cold towards most strangers, as well as cautious. He was going to step away from the girl and basically leave despite the fact the game wasn’t exactly finished. That was his plan until his brother suddenly came over and greeted the stranger. Alistair quickly registered in his head that the girl had most likely mistaken Alistair for his brother Felix.
During the whole conversation between Felix and…… his friend Alistair remained silent and listened with his expression usually the same as always. The blonde shifter usually never shared much interest in Felix’s friends or acquaintances or anyone he really knew much. If anything they probably only thought him as a clone of Felix, the only things they shared I common was just appearance after all. They were pretty different on the inside.
When Jazlyn apologized to Alistair he simply gave her a respectful nod. Just because he wasn’t exactly a more happy-go-lucky guy doesn’t mean he was just straight mean either, most of the time anyway. Alistair wasn’t hesitant of his actions. He’ll just go ahead and do something without much regret. However when Felix suddenly pulled away from the small group Alistair couldn’t help but give a more confused expression to his brother. Was he seriously going to leave him with someone he didn’t really know? The reason he pretty much dragged his brother out was t spend some time with him as well and he was just going to sit out? Luckily Jazlyn decided that Felix should join the game and pulled him back. The other players were also returning with the ball, the game would start again soon and Alistair expected that his opponents wouldn’t go easy this time.
”I honestly don’t mind whoever’s on anyone’s side. You could go on the opposite side, if they don’t mind that is.” He mainly directed toward Jazlyn. ”We could all be on the same side if you want to make things easier but like I said earlier, I don’t mind.”
